Privacy Notice

Last updated: August 25, 2026

This Privacy Notice explains how Dimensional Loop handles information in connection with the UPMXS software, our website, purchases, licensing and customer support.

1. Our Privacy Approach

UPMXS is designed around the principle that your project data belongs to you.

Dimensional Loop does not claim ownership of the projects, project memory, documents, images, assets, knowledge or other content that you create or import into UPMXS.

As part of normal use of the UPMXS desktop software, Dimensional Loop does not collect or store the contents of your UPMXS project files on our servers.

2. Information We May Process

We may process limited information reasonably necessary to operate the business, complete transactions, provide licensing and activation, maintain security, meet legal obligations and provide customer support.

This may include information such as:

3. Your UPMXS Project Data

Your UPMXS project data remains under your control.

Dimensional Loop does not routinely receive, upload or store the contents of your local UPMXS project files merely because you use the software.

You are responsible for storing, protecting and backing up your project files.

4. Information You Choose to Provide for Support

If you contact us for technical support, you may choose to provide screenshots, error messages, project information, diagnostic information or other materials that help us investigate your issue.

Any project information supplied for support is provided by you voluntarily and will be used for the purpose of investigating and responding to your support request and for related security, legal or operational requirements where necessary.

You should avoid sending confidential project information unless it is reasonably necessary for us to investigate the issue.

5. Payments

Payments for UPMXS may be processed by Paddle, our authorized payment provider and Merchant of Record.

Paddle may collect and process information necessary to complete your transaction, such as billing information, payment information, tax information and transaction details.

Payment information handled directly by Paddle is processed under Paddle's own applicable privacy and data-protection practices.

Dimensional Loop may receive transaction information from Paddle that is reasonably necessary to confirm purchases, provision licenses, maintain transaction records and provide customer support.

6. Licensing and Activation

UPMXS may communicate with Dimensional Loop systems to activate or validate a software license.

We may process information reasonably necessary to verify license validity, associate a purchase with a license, prevent unauthorized or fraudulent use and provide licensing support.

License and activation systems are not intended to collect the contents of your UPMXS projects.

7. AI and Third-Party Services

UPMXS may allow you to prepare, export or transfer project information for use with artificial-intelligence systems or other third-party services.

You control what project information you choose to provide to those external services.

Information sent to an independent third-party service is subject to that provider's own terms and privacy practices. Dimensional Loop does not control how independent third-party services process information you provide directly to them.

8. How We Use Information

Information we process may be used to:

9. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including transaction administration, licensing, customer support, security, accounting and legal or regulatory obligations.

Different categories of information may need to be retained for different periods depending on their purpose and applicable legal requirements.

10. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information.

Information may be shared with service providers where reasonably necessary to operate UPMXS, process transactions, provide infrastructure or support, prevent fraud, or comply with legal obligations.

We may also disclose information where required by law, regulation, legal process or a valid governmental request.

11. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information under our control.

However, no electronic system, network or method of storage can guarantee absolute security.

12. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, applicable privacy laws may give you rights concerning your personal information, which may include rights to request access, correction, deletion or other information about how your personal information is processed.

These rights may be subject to legal exceptions, including information that we are required to retain for transaction, accounting, fraud-prevention or other legal purposes.

13. Changes to This Privacy Notice

We may update this Privacy Notice as UPMXS, our business practices, service providers or legal requirements change.

The current version will be published on the Dimensional Loop website with its latest revision date.
